The Company I work for has sent me to China on business a few times now and I have just one word. WOW!
One only has to visit there and see how hard people work, the intelligence of the people, the efficency, the can do attitude and how fast things get done and built to see America is in serious trouble.
In Chinese Schools the kids pay attention and the teacher is GOD. They perform academically so much better than us.
If the government wants to build a bridge, a highway or factory it is completed in half the time than it would take in America. Here in Oregon a new freeway or bridge would take years of study and lawsuits.
The people in China are more disciplined and optimistic about life and the future of their country.
Their infrastructure and systems are still behind us but catching up at warp speed. Human Rights and pollution are terrible but within 20 years we will be passed by and eating the dust.
Our system is better for somethings but kill us in economic competition with China. Do you agree?

Right now the U.S. is in a recession due to oil prices and China is improving rapidly. I think the U.S. will get better though in like 4 years. I honestly don’t know the only way you’ll find out is if u can see into the future.

Well, considering what the US prioritizes, I agree. When the country is draining itself economically on a distant war instead of putting money into education, infrastructure, and the general well-being of the citizens of the country, there are going to be problems. Americans tend to look at the US from the inside out. Fortunately, there are some who have started to look at the US from the outside in. Many countries, not just China, are steaming along economically. I teach English online and I have a lot of Chinese students. They are ambitious, aggressive, and well-educated. There are those (not Chinese) who believe that America’s economic and political power may soon be a thing of the past. Let’s hope they are wrong.
